I don't buy it. They already have an announced relationship with Digitalway for the earlier Odyssey. DW would have no reason to insist on an NDA at this point, it would have to be at EDIGs wishes, and despite what some may say, I'm not one for conspiracies.

The only reason DW would insist on anonymity is because they had a big name OEM who wanted it that way (possibly because they didn't want any competing OEMs who also work with DW to get a whiff of their plans), in which case the point is moot, because that means we have big fish for our O1000 (even if it is through DW).

I re-read the PR and re-thought my previous guesses at Sony or Samsung based on this:

Because the Asian OEM manufactures products for many global brands under confidentiality agreements, the name of the licensee is subject to non-disclosure.

I don't think Sony or Samsung manufactre for other parties, do they?

So I think that negates Digitalway from the equation. We may be left with EASTECH, or some such "behnd the scenes" player (again). OR....maybe it is an Asian parent company who uses other brand names in its retailing:...Matsushita (Panasonic) anybody? Do they have additional brand names under their umbrella? Just thinking out loud. Comments?

Sorry to bust your bubble, Cass. If you look up the market cap or the annual sales of Digitalway, you'll find that neither comes anywhere close to a billion dollars.
