You’ll be lucky if the market waits until they announce the new supply contract. I do suspect that many will get in before it hits $$

Not forward looking. Can’t get clearer than this....

“Today we’re thrilled to announce that our work was a success and that we now have a line of silkworms that produce a recombinant spider silk better matched for the demands of protective textile applications.”

“Do you really think that DuPont is sitting on the sidelines waiting to be replaced?”

DuPont knows it’s Kevlar line has reached its peak and is on the downhill side IMO.

"The facts are that KBLB was almost 2 years late on their 1st deliverable to the Army (the shootpack panels), and they are now late (once again) on their 2nd deliverable to the Army. You can't actually think that the Army looks favorable on that!"

being late the first time was atrocious...the second time is no big deal...they were asked to create a new fiber with certain requirements...the timeline was a rather artificial one since it really cant be known how long such a thing would take...this is the first time kblb tried to make a custom fiber...

there was never any doubt they would be late..

"they now have to produce about 220 lbs. of custom spidersilk, we can assume that they are many, many months from the actual delivery."

yes..of course they are a number of months away from delivery..

"many of their direct competitors will have caught up to them and possibly even surpassed them."

perhaps...but that has nothing to do with kblb and the army contract..

"Do you really think that DuPont is sitting on the sidelines waiting to be replaced?"

doesn't matter
