The harvesting is all done by hand, so that stems and plant debris are not part of the mix. Proper drying and storage is crucial. Drying cannot be forced. The drying facility must be climate and temperature controlled, so that the process is seamless. This is a carefully regulated and monitored process. Once storage facility can serve multiple growers as can a vertically integrated extraction process.
Extraction is key. It is also the bottleneck in the business, often forcing hemp farmers without such capabilities to sell way below crop value. Our vertically integrated extraction unit can serve a number of farms depending upon size. All machinery is supplied and technical help is seamless with our technical staff, then reinforced with HempHub for questions/answers/videos, etc.
