They said the patents aren’t valid. They actually have a good argument in that they’re saying the patents are simplistic and abstract, therefore unpatentable. This isn’t going to be an easy one for them to win.
To follow your analogy, they’re saying “we didn’t steal your lawn clippings because lawn clippings on the sidewalk are public domain, and anyone could have made them. You can’t claim ownership to all the lawn clippings just because you stood on one leg when you made them, that doesn’t make them unique lawn clippings”
Or something like that

Not a very compelling argument to dismiss.. "the patent isn't written correctly" just means Sinemia's lawyer wants to ring up huge legal fees demonstrating his knowledge of patent law in court. Sinemia has a long, expensive road in front of them. Sounds like they hired a quack.

Sinemia saying your processes are common traditional business relationships and thus essentially expected and natural we would similarly transact business in such fashion, which further evidences the invalidity of your patents. No robbing.
