CALGARY, Alberta--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 16, 2003--Sure Trace
Security Corporation (Sure Trace OTC-BB: SSTY) has completed a private
placement for $25 million U.S. at an average equity investment of
$0.67 per share with Can West Ventures Inc. The shares issued are 144
restricted. As a condition of the transaction, Sure Trace has agreed
to cancel a previously announced Letter of Intent, announced on August
13, 2003, for a private placement financing with Cavallino Investments
Ltd.
