It depends!
What time frame and which of the six possible results that the security did.

1)Straight up
2) Straight down
3) up then down.
4) down then up.
5)cycle up and down.
6) flat

Aim will do better in 5 out of 6 cases. Do you know which one in advance? Of course not!

You can use AIM on anything but it is safer on ETFs as they can't go to zero the way an individual stock can.

AIM takes the emotion out of investing. You have not yet appreciated the value of that based on your question.

1) decide what you want to own ( the rest of your life) then let Aim manage it.
