I guess, if you didn't sell and you are regretting that then that is your truth. If this never goes anywhere I would be inclined to agree with you.

If this retest high and you get long term tax rate I dont think you loose out mathematically.
If you want trade highd and lows then start buying.

Interesting. I hear what you sayin but really depends on the goal and timeframe. if the invest timeframe is a week, then yep, not lookin good unless u willin to ride it out. if the timeframe is 6 months, a year or more, it's only a bump in the road.

smart flipper money buys low / sells high
smart LTH money buys low, may peel some off at peaks, but definitely adds on big dips and accumulates.

If one is buying based on the story and fundamentals, has looked through the K and Q's, and nothing has changed negatively other than an extreme price swing, it does not cause a lot of concern and usually creates a buying opp.

if one is buying based on tweet, post, chart swing technicals, and does not know anything about the company they buying, yep it will feel downright spooky.

I don't really see any pumping here. those who long in it remain bullish, with reason. there are a lot of reasons.

one only loses when they press the sell button. lots of folks get freaked out, emotional and lose sense of reason. ask yourself what changed with the company since it ran? nothing. still the same great company on same path.
