If you look at the RSI-14 chart we were in oversold territory, last time we were near that level and price, was in mid July and we spiked to 1.30 (probably an intraday trade). I believe Mr. J made some kind of comment that got everyone's juices flowing. No real meat to what he said but everyone piled in for a time.

Not sure whether something is coming up (and/or whether Jasinski will come up with some optimistic BS) but a similar thing happened between 10/16/2017 and 11/17/2018. On 10/17/2017, they announced there is going to be a public offering with no price attached to it. PPS was around $1.6 and it immediately dropped to $1.25. After that, they waited until 11/17/2017 to release the details of the offering (@$1.05 per share) and in that timeframe, the pps was all over the place (even hitting $1.55 at some point). So I am not sure whether there is any rationale behind the move today.
