I agree. That 8-k got my attention. I took a starter on Friday. Since RedBox has validated the further potential of kiosks by reinstalling more units last year that they had removed a year earlier, that shows the strength of kiosks, for starters.
I've had an interest in Japanese culture for a long time and you should see all the things they sell via kiosks/vending machines in Japan. It's unbelievable the number of products that can sold via kiosk/vending machines.
MJ certainly is possible product but what makes me wonder as well is if they simply might just use the units to leverage the video library that MoviePass Films has a 51% interest in, as well as the other movies that have been creating. Since Mitch is still the CEO at MoviePass, I'm sure he could see the kiosks as a way to distribute movies down in Mexico as well.
In any case, seems like a worthy gamble to me since VidBox has so many machines already. They'll certainly be selling something out of those machines that is profitable to the company. Great sleeper stock possible here, imo.
