I’m obviously not the brightest investor since I bought into this company, but if someone is buying huge amounts of this stock, shouldn’t the pps be going up, not down?

No. Someone or some folks just sold about $50,000 in stock and someone or some folks bought it. A couple things:

1. The volumes appear "high" because our shares o/s are so high and our price is so low.
2. The $ volume, only $50K, is relatively low.
3. The price dropped because the impetus was selling, not buying.

Be wary of confirmation bias. You want to believe someone is buying a lot of IPIX, but this morning is not evidence of that. What will be evidence is typical days of $200K-$1MM in trading volume, which is typical of stable, progressing young biotechs. Right now we are in the deep backwaters, off the radar. The market is writing us off. BTD and B deal would change that quickly, and we'd see volume and s/p spike.
