The SEC is in place to protect all those agencies you mentioned, just like HR is in place to protect the corporation. The SEC doesn't care about us, they care about ill gotten gains only if its little people running scams..... Id like to know who profited from the money I spent on buying BCIT those last few days before it was placed on global lock to protect the brokerages and FINRA.... they could have minimally gave us our money back, but that would be harmful to the brokerages and FINRA...its easier to harm retail... I have no faith in the oversight agencies... they don't care about us.
