I think we are just at the tip of an iceberg of what Cannabis can do, teach us and what properties it has. The most studied group was CP55940 that consisted of binding with CB1 and CB2 antagonists, the CB1 is psychoactive and CB2 is not. There have been preliminary studies done on different strains binding other receptors or having mediated effect, but those are inconclusive still due to nature of legality.

So to answer your question, I think there is so much we don't know about this "alien" plant and what it can do for us.
