So, it could happen but there are a few things at work here for this particular stock that lead me to believe that Jason would not allow that to happen.
First off, the CEO owns a ton of interest in this company. We still don't have a complete picture of it all yet, however I will say his share count currently has no bearing because to be honest, Jason owns all of the voting rights through his preferred shares. At a 15000 to 1 voting right, he currently controls 15 billion shares worth of voting rights (He changed his conversion to common stock to 1500 to 1 or 1.5 billion shares, but he kept the voting rights the same). As we currently only have 4.4 billion outstanding shares, there is simply no chance that anyone could control enough of this to force Jason to go private. I believe he did that on purpose and to protect the companies he has built from a hostile takeover.
So now to the next question. Would Jason spend all of the time he has on this shell to just turn around and sell it for fractions of the value this company is worth. Well that depends on if we think he likes selling himself short. I don't think anyone on here that is long believes he would do something like that. The guy has spent 25 years making a ton of other people rich off of his sweat equity. I truly believe he is here, because he wants to be the big fish and he has shown his vision of turning this into a massive fish by trying to attract revenue flows from blockchain, governmental regulations and probably tons of other streams we have only begun to imagine. I don't see him selling this off until this reaches proper valuation and as we know, his competitors are worth billions in market cap. Certainly not what we see here now at these prices. My point is, if Jason's vision becomes a reality, then we will be at much higher prices. He could take the wait and see approach but truly, I think it is a good problem to have. I would be ok with this reaching a minimum of 50 cents (2 billion MC) and a buyout happening. In that event, whoever buys us would give us cash and or shares in the acquiring company that is equal to the buyout price.
But in the discussions I have had with "Who's Matt?" I am led to believe that Jason has the vision of driving this stock to Nasdaq. And guess what... if he does that, then the dude is a straight up multi billionare with all the prestige and admiration in the world. Oh and us as current shareholders are sitting on a mountain of cash as well! :-)
So i guess the ball is in Jason's court, and I am just happy I am along for the ride with him. Hey doubters, you know what's better than making millions? Making Billions!! I truly believe Jason has the vision and patience to make that happen! Time will tell if I'm right.
