It was an IPO in 1998. It’s how I got here in the first place. I saw that image too, just thought he was using the fact that the shell was an IPO and displaying it against the status of competitors. I don’t think it has any relevance.
Meaning LDSR is the only publicly traded company would be my guess. Funny they listed Data443 and not LDSR. Told ya'll Jason doesnt like the LDSR name and wants everyone to think Data443 s the name.
I think Jason is simply stating through your provided slide that he is unable to go through the process of standard start up funding. He is unable to do a Seed/Angel Round, series A, B, or C funding because he is already past those stages and is classified as a IPO status due to his company already being publicly traded.
"An IPO, or initial public offering, is when your company sells stock to the public for the first time. This can be debt or equity offered on a public stock exchange. In the US, it means filing with the SEC.
Holding an IPO can introduce you to thousands of new shareholders, but you must follow strict rules and regulations and give quarterly financial reports. Plus, it can be pretty expensive and you have no control over who invests in your company."
He stated before the roadshow that it is a "non-deal roadshow".
