I don't think you will able to sell the TRW shares for some time. Perhaps if they fail with the IPO three years from now then you can sell them back to the company or someone else. The value now is $1.60 or closer to $2 per SIAF share if you include the earnings of the past 2 years. That's based on a P/E of roughly 10.

My plan is to wait for the IPO and perhaps fetch a P/E of 50. If they grow nicely.

As for my strategy now, still working on it and I don't want to share it. A) not wise to share it and B) could be a bit risky. It seems more and more like I just want to collect those TRW shares and not take any chances.

Here's a thought I had yesterday

I'm still curious though. There must be interested parties willing to invest in TRW in which case you would have to pay at least $4 per TRW share. Let's say you invest $16M, then you would own 4% of TRW.

Or you could use the same money and buy all of SIAF's shares (for current price). In which case you would own 18.3% of TRW (the dividend) plus another 18.3% (through SIAF) plus $111M in debt owed to SIAF plus all the rest.

That's a big difference. A very big difference. There must be something driving SIAF's share price a lot higher in the coming weeks. But we'll see how the market handles this one. Thing is, ECAB knows this. And there are more.
