I have no idea if a buy order would lock up shares or not. Some have said that asking for the stock certificates also locks them up but I also don't know the veracity of that either.

So without knowing for sure, i wouldn't recommend doing either.

Nevertheless, i do think it's just a matter of time before short sellers have to cover. At some price level they get hit with margin calls. I don't know what that price level is though.

It's a bit tricky.

On the one hand, if we bid up the stock price with buys to say $.0004, then a short seller shorting at $.0003 or $.0002 is sure to get a margin call... but but but on the other hand, a short seller not short the stock may choose to short at the higher price of $.0004 as that price would be tempting for a short seller if he thought the price would retrace.

Hence, the only way to win at this game is do what the shorts are doing in opposite. If they've been accumulating a short position... then I've been accumulating a long one.

I will not sell until oil or buy out... that is my intent.

And that forces the short seller to either cover or wait for bankruptcy... just as i'm waiting for oil or buy out.

Which is more likely is the question. Under other penny stock circumstances I would say bankruptcy... but we have Offor... and that makes all the difference. I don't think we're going bankrupt because of him.
