That is a very well thought out post, congratulations I like your train of thought but I don't see a world wide release of HS, simply because LEX does not have a manufacturing facility and doesn't have a Sales Force in place.
Agreed licensing to bigger companies would provide those missing areas with a speedier distribution / sales network but it would still take a considerable amount of time to achieve a steady usage in Hospitals and other Medical facilities.
I guess cost would be the overriding factor determining how quickly it is implemented and adopted throughout the Medical Field. In comparison with the BP Cuff I don't envisage it being replaced by the HS in the near future, because the time taken to complete the HS test verses the BP check is at least 5 minutes. Yes I do think people over 45 / 50 will be HS'd at least once a year as part of their annual physical and as people are living longer it will be a choice for most.
