Where I'm from. The great divide is 40 or 50 miles from lake superior. Many many crystal clear spring fed creeks and rivers... The coho run. Bright red meat... Best tasting fish ever in my opinion... Besides that you can catch 6 brook trout limit in about 15-20 minutes on any creek any day it seems... The 12+ inches you have to walk a half mile down cuz the easy ones get caught first...:) I'm getting back into it here after my project is done...
