My sister just had to put one of her dogs down as it had developed a tumor that the vet said was no way to treat at the current time. She'd already spent about $4000 trying to keep her pet alive. You can bet if this current treatment was widely available that she would have shucked out the money to keep her pet alive as they loved their dogs as much or more than they love their kids.
