I think you said, should long articles be posted... and what came to my mind was should they be allowed which might make people answer differently.

For example, on the link question, I don't care for it when someone only posts the link because it takes extra time to bring the article up because I am on dial up and there's almost always bunches of graphics that take forever to load. So I voted "no". But if you asked me if I would allow just posting just the links, I'd say "yes". It's not really a problem, but a convenience and preference. See where I'm going?

Bottomline for me, is that posts should NOT be deleted based on those kinds of posting style preferences... only for violating iHub TOU such as vulgarity, personal attacks, etc. If someone has a major problem with a particular person's posting style, they have the ignore feature to solve the problem.

One other thing, is I do think a link should be provided when posting an article in case someone wants to double check the reference. On a stock board, that is a must because of abuses I've seen in the past where articles were edited and not the same as the original.
