We sent a Purchase and Sale Agreement a few weeks ago. It is being reviewed by their attorney. It could go either way so don't count on it.

Would you be better off to lease farmland until cash flows are great enough to buy out right? Seems that would be the better option.

No, i prefer to own land outright. In 2015, we had too many financial committments and lost all of our assets due to not being able to fulfill contracts, This will not happen again. Millions of dollars were flushed down the toilet.
Whose toilet? I'm guessing flushed right into the bank accounts of the toxic lenders, the way it usually works.
