cha-ching most of what I do is from experience but there are a few sites I recommend for Technical Analysis

Most books out there are said by newbies to be too uninformative and hard to understand, Here are 2 of the many books out there 1. "How Charts Can Help You in the Stock Market" by William L. Jiler 2."Elliot Wave Principle" by Frost and Prechter
The best advise I can give is to watch the good chartist on Ihub here and start learning 1 indicator at a time from http://stockcharts.com/.

This is another good site http://www.trade10.com/technical.htm.

Chart patterns and candlesticking must be learned and incorporated into the charts for an even better outlook on a chart projection

http://www.chartpatterns.com/

http://www.candlecharts.com/about-candles-basics.html

It takes a good year to start truly understanding how to combine everything together and be able to put these to use .

Happy Charting as you can upgrade your subscription on stockcharts to EXTRA and start practicing annotating and drawing trend lines etc. on your own!
