I had a great boat for around 13 years. It was a Boston Whaler 24' Outrage with twin 200hp engines. I used it mainly for offshore fishing (dolphin, wahoo, tuna). I've gone as far as Green Turtle Key on the far side of the Bahamas along the Sea of Abaco with it and would often head down to the Florida Keys from here by water.
After all those years and plenty of fun and exciting times, I finally reached the "Been there, done that" point, so I gave it to a friend with a teenage boy. He has since taken the boat all the way apart and fixed all the structural effects of many year in some pretty rough seas and repowered it with two new engines. It's good to know that it is still out there bringing someone great joy and catching lots of fish.
Now, I let my brother-in-law use the dock and lift for his boat. I could use it anytime I wish, but I never do.
