PWC even states this in the 4th or 5th report, teaser - no bids summitted for "sale as a going concern" yet people keep stressing that bids were pulled because PWC accidently released names of bidders. Companies don't care who knows they are buying. It was mandated by PWC for sealed bidding. Bidding companies had no interest to buy BioAmber as a going concern.

“It's very clear there was no interest retaining personnel, most likely management, and BioAmber's corporate structure.”

The Corporate entity is what “owns” any NOL. Nobody has expressed interest in, yet alone is buying, the Corporate entity that contains the NOL.

The NOL has no impact on the asset sale...it can’t be “bought” itself like its an asset...assuming it is even useable.

So whatever wildly ridiculous value someone might think is going to show up because of the NOL, well...they are going to be disappointed.
