Read thru my posts on this board. I use it to warehouse a lot of stock market wisdom I share with others including my own kids. You'll see that I'm utterly consistent in hating pennies and in loving Buffett and his wisdom.
In recent years I've also railed against charting which i consider to be the stock market version of witchcraft... total flim flam.
I AM a retired lawyer... a rich one. I buy blue chips and hold them for ages. I agree with Buffett that it's very hard to beat a low cost index fund. Trading stocks is almost always counterproductive. I've posted some academic studies on this board about that point.
