I realize that. I noticed I was spending too much money "averaging down" on crap, so I wanted to get used to buying higher level stocks on uptrend. I also have CSCO and a ETF tracking the S & P 500 in the Stash account. The problem is it doesn't have a great selection of things. Only a few of the big individual stocks. I was able to buy SQ at about 60 at the beginning of the summer. I owned 6.22 shares but sold at 86. I didn't want to lose money. I opened a Robin Hood account to have a greater selection and no fees. I own some ROKU and IIIV in that account and all are in the black. Now I want to dump all the OTC crap in my
E-trade and TDA accounts and forget all about this lotto mentality garbage, I've been involved with it for too long.
