Based on my understanding, no one has been paid off. AVEW owes quite a few people for investment, salaries and contractors it couldn’t pay towards the end.
Sorry goldfinger, I misread your question. From what I’ve been able to gather, none of the investors have ever been paid. Towards the end, AVEW generated cash through promissory notes, some of the amounts can be found in limited fins. Jose made a practice of offering notes, some of which were in excess of $100k. I believe he never had the intention of disbursing any notes.
