I am not interested in much of the conspiracy stuff, but I do know that most of the minority of "engineers" who follow one "fact" are full of shit. They have obviously never shoed a horse or watched a farrier.

Yes, the melting point of steel is far higher than that of a kerosene/plastics mix. But it bends and becomes soft at a temperature well below that of jet A fuel. If you watched a farrier with a kerosene torch you would see that they can easily bend a steel horseshoe with only that heat source.

So if you suddenly make several floors bendable and with the force of several floors above it as the weight, the momentum achieved when the fall starts easily exceeds the structural integrity of the floors below.

Of course, that is not factored in when emotion is driving the analysis.

All I am saying is, yeah, skyscrapers survive fires regularly, but show me one where there were thousands of pounds of kerosene burning in the upper portion. The conspiracy stuff is based on rejection of basic science, and a misreading of it by people with agendas.

As to the other structure, just how much fuel was stored there? and at what temperature was it burning at.

I am not interested in debating the factual portions... there are enough conspiracies out there to gag a maggot.
