Tigers look like toast. Meanwhile, Spurs are up on the Mavericks 59-41 after a half.

That's right, folks, it's roundball time again.

OT: don't you have that backwards?

The Tigers are playing an extremely sub-par World Series, but they're unquestionably one of the top 3 teams in baseball this year.

The Cardinals, OTOH, already are in the minds of many, not just the worst team to grace the playoffs this year (which considering the attrociously bad NL bunch, is really saying something), but the worst team ever to play in the World Series, much less win it.

There are hundreds more where those came from, lol.

Wouldn't it be a hoot if the Cards wrapped it up tonight and the MVP went to Eckstein? The least talented player ever to win a World Series MVP, in one of the worst World Series ever, featuring the worst team ever to win it all. Fitting. :-)
