What part about "no clarity can be expected on the CRO situation, and is moot anyway" are you struggling with? Think about what you just asked.

Our concern as investors is that the company has cash to fund itself until it gets a B deal and so it can pay the CRO. Some folks think we cannot. The stock is falling as they sell. At some price(s), buying will (hopefully) step in from those thinking we can. (I'm one of them FYI.) News on available funding - Aspire or otherwise - will turn this around. Look for (or 'expect') that.
