DaubersUP....Your statement: I posted this on early August and another along these lines earlier. I totally agree with your statement in this post:
"This tells me they should have an idea of what the heck was going on and why the heck would IPIX continue to fund the trial if they did not have good reports all the way through. I have a gut feeling that I said earlier that the results are phenomenal and data integrity was in question and more money was put down to make sure the study data is "ACCURATE" time will tell "

TIAB.....I believe the company already knows or has clues about the results of the 2B trial. What most are failing to recognize is the fact because of the design of the trial it was possible along about late last summer to know the responses of those who had completed the trial despite the data being blinded. Consider the trial design, the number in the two arms taking P, the number taking the placebo, and the ability of the doctors to observe the results on the patients skin, then do some math.


And that is about the time frame management reached the decision to go ahead with the questionnaire of the patients.
Management in effect decided to greatly increase the time and cost of the trial in spite of the fact they would have to raise millions of dollars to pay for this addition of costs. Only management with complete confidence in the outcome would have decided to sell millions of shares into a weak market unless they KNEW the benefit would be multiples of the cost. So i believe IPIX management has known for some time that the results will likely be very favorable.

Also consider the statement concerning P in the August updated slide presentation on page 4 which was "" Orally-delivered psoriasis drug candidate completed a Phase 2b trial utilizing advantages of the 505(b)(2) development approach". Now ask yourself why would management make that statement just in advance of an announcement of the Phase 2b trial being a FAILURE. So opinions aside one only has to study the actions of management to understand their perspective.

Of course this is just my Logical conclusion or resolution reached after consideration and is JMO!!!!
