CURA was always B2B.

The retail thing was either a red herring or vastly premature IMO.

Do you remember whether Chery was pronounced as Sheri or Cherry? Not that it's relevant....just curious.

DK talked about the OEM pump manufacturer wanting to buy CurAegis. DK asked the pump executive if he thought the CurAegis pump could have been invented and perfected at his company and the exec had to admit that it probably would not have happened. Too radical, too much time and money to pursue. He saw the wisdom of allowing the CurAegis team to continue to operate independently. Whatever arrangement might be arrived at with this OEM, according to DK they are extremely interested in keeping the pump and it's related breakthroughs under their control in some fashion. If that is as a subsidiary or just with an exclusive contract/royalties, that is the negotiation that should happen, if the pump meets the OEM test expectations. This manufacturer was first to step up with actual interest, the first to send senior management and engineers to Rochester and the first to mention partnership, ownership, or some kind of exclusive relationship, according to DK.

Given our long journey on this voyage of discovery, we all understand how promising things can disappear at any time. I'm hoping the fact that this established OEM stands to gather big market share and do it profitably, will be the thing that makes it different this time. Once in a while you catch the perfect wave let's hope that is the case this time for all of the suffering survivors.

It’s Bosch. Out of the top 5 only one was located in Europe, Bosch. Three were in Japan and one in the USA.
