Good point... But we don't really know that...and that is the point

Right now everyone is playing the guessing game.

I myself, wanted Cargill since they are a private company and worth billions. They have done business with BioAmber so it made sense... Mitsui got bought out by BioAmer by buying up their interest, so Mitsui would definitely have to pay more this time around, so imo they are out.

$BIOA-Q How do you know they're "great" bids? Who says anyone is paying the assessed value? For all anyone knows the bids will come in way under valued. The stay until the 18th is to stop the creditors from closing this down permanently & forcing insolvency. Not only that but it's not the "highest bid" wins. PWC will take the "best bid in the interests of secured creditors" and submit that to the court. If that means taking a bid at a fraction of the value but keeping the plant going so the secured creditors can get their money back then the writing is on the wall... this whole process can go several ways.
