Nader is but one vote on the BOD, he and the other Directors representing Shareholder interests will jointly make the decision whether or not to accept and/or present any offer(s). Granted Nader has been at the helm and calling the shots in the past, but IMO that is no longer the case, as Shareholders are now well represented on the BOD by Independent Directors.

I agree with this and believe it is the biggest potential hurdle to having a near term buyout. We're in a really tricky spot with a HIV drug that's almost ready to be commercialized, yet we have potential to treat cancer and won't have approval to do so for several years. I think Cytodyn desperately needs a partner who can get this out as an HIV treatment, but a deal in the next year won't come close to capturing the value created if this works against cancer. Meanwhile, the competition in HIV is growing fiercely.
