The same thing could happen again here so I would advise people to have your broker numbers handy and all times...which you should have anyway.

As to the short issue...I believe this stock has a tremendous short position in excess of 350 million shares. I also think the Forward Split caught them off guard and compounded the problem along with all the Media attention this stock/company has generated.

The dynamics of this situation are tremendous and it would be a great time for the company to address it. We all know they have the NOBO/OBO in their possession and should be addressing it very soom...JMO

The opportunity is now and the discount will be set by the market.
