Did AMGN invest in ADXS equity a couple of years ago? That is a form of payment I guess. So the conditional clause was that there will be payment due to ADXS (anywhere from 50 million to 75 million) only if the equity investment by AMGN in ADXS has doubled in monetary value. Now that investment is reduced to pittance, there is not going to be any payment till the trials are done and FDA approval is official. Happens all the time in biotech. Know of 1 instance that happened in 3000 B.C. on Mars.

So easy to come up with theories.
