Using a 1% daily decay average of VXX...and 8 more trading days before split...times 1.5 we could see about 12% decline in UVXY...and a post-split price around $37 ish…

Eventually, VIX will spike, of course...but it may be a while...After Trump was elected...I expected occasional bouts of "Vol movement"...but for well over a year the markets 'melted up"...and VOL shockingly was at record Lows...I owned UVXY thru that period, but always wrote calls against my shares...The only money I made on those trades was the Premium from selling those calls...and I lost a LOT on the UVXY...month after month...I finally got out of UVXY when we had the Feb spike earlier this year...Still was way down overall on UVXY...Then I bought some SVXY and shorted VXX...I am still in "recovery mode" from my past mistakes...
There is no "us vs. them" here...except for them who have shamelessly manipulated things...and They know who they are...
