Assuming it is an SEC suspension and the notice shows up, the suspension is automatically lifted after 10 trading days. HOWEVER, it will re-open for trading on the Grey Market without quotation (no bid/ask) as it will have lost compliance with Rule 15c211.
It will stay on the grey market until the SEC revokes the stock's registration (as they have started Admin Proceedings to do so) at which point it will technically be a private company and not trade anywhere.
The revocation proceedings usually take about a month or two.
