It's important to note that he didn't just wrest control...P2O was wrested back.

Not sure from who, but I know it's VERY important. Whoever had P2O must've been REALLY AWFUL. It sounds like Heddle rescued it from evildoers bent on its destruction. Five years later with their holdings worth ~95% less than they were at the time his fellow shareholders are still grateful.

I'm sure who or what Heddle wrested P2O back from would have done a lot worse than he has. Just not sure how.
