I remember when the intrepid reporter paid $40 to join a media association and get media credentials. Packs of adoring Baltia fans were convinced he was a real reporter at that point, and would bring justice and salvation to their cause.

I'll bet not. Huerta will not say a thing. His secret is good. Boeing can probably tell you too. DU is used as counterweight in the aircraft with each plane having between 700 and 1000 lbs. There is probably about 300 tons flying around the world still from all the planes put into service from 68 to 1981. They use tungsten now instead.
That re enriched stuff is pretty valuable. Pakistan ships out a lot even to the USA as does Iran, albeit illegal. A few countries in Eastern Europe manufacture DU tipped ammunition much of that sold to our friends in Afghanistan and N. Korea. Our ex Sec of State can fill you in on the details. John Kerry was over there in Iran just before Trump nixed the Iran deal. Does Baltia fly DU around for sale.... naw, they don't get airborne.

Is there FAA funny business? The whole place is one big joke from the top down to a few inspectors, but of course a lot of good folks there too just doing their jobs hoping they don't have to turn a blind eye.
