Just a theory, not to be political, just a guess here. If Trump has more battles with Jeff Session he may, just to rub Jeff the wrong way, reschedule Cannabis to Schedule 2 and legalize medicinal nationwide... Trump fears not being popular and knows 70% of American voters support legalized cannabis. He feels a “blue wave” at his back and he might think by appealing to one liberal idea, he might sway a few votes. He’s probably in the pockets of big pharma, but he’d do anything for votes and pissing off Sessions might be motivation enough? Just a total hypothetical here. Good Luck.
