Not sure. Usually the risk of disease increases with higher stocking densities. You would have to relisten to the Tony comments from the latest CC.

What I can see (and read) it is like this.

You definitely need cleaner water for freshwater prawns. Another problem is, they don't grow at the same rate. So you have to grade them by size and sex. I think they will need all-male or all-female populations as well on a large scale.

For Mexican white, they have done trials in the past at FF1. But I don't think they were succesful in growing them out to certain sizes. Perhaps not enough light. I think they have better quality shrimp now. If Tony can double the stocking density then you have a winner.

The experimental farm is something different. I don't think what they told us adds up. But they will grow big shrimp here for sure.
