Yep. Like 007 has said many times. There's BIG money in dirt. The town gets $700 for each truckload of illegal dirt removed from the site.

I love karma............

literally and formally announced by the town last week.

https://www.georgina.ca/sites/default/files/Article/2018/mr_-_order_granted_for_smith_boulevard.pdf

"In its June Order, the Court permitted the Town to remove the fill that had been brought onto the property in May and charge the costs of doing so to the landowner. The Town had started the removal process.

On August 9, 2018, the Court granted permission to the Town to remove “all fill” placed on 6017 Smith Blvd. in contravention of the original Order, and charge all expenses to the landowner. Similarly, the costs of the Town to enforce the order can also be charged to the landowner. The Town is continuing with the removal process.
[b]The Court again directed that York Regional Police assist the Town where necessary[tag]insert-text-here[/tag]

I would have to assume that the "fill" which the town had always been against since years prior which explains the legal fiasco has never to this day been approved. Its been stated in a number of additional articles already. Very easy to get anyone to dump their load in the vicinity at discounted rates and have the town take it out at seven times the cost once everything is said and done. I believe this is a very unique, robust and disruptive business model. lOL
