#105236 RE: Garpeters #105230

You don't plant partial acreage to test if the soil is any good, anyone who farms knows how soil tests are done. You take samples of various areas and send it into a lab for testing and they provide you with all the facts required to include what would be needed to sustain any crop that is planned. Also this is a free service provided by geological societies, farm bureau's and other agencies.

This whole testing on a few acres BS is ridiculous.

Back in the late 80's I used to build athletic fields and we would have the soils tested like this all the time to insure we had good soil, if not we amended the soil or provided a maintenance program to sustain the field; we didn't plant to see if it would work and then finish the project. This is just stupid on so many levels.

Talk to any farmer and they will tell you they periodically test their fields to understand how previous crops have affected the soil so they would know what to plant the next year or what amendments they needed to do. No farmer plants a 15 acre test plot one year to figure out how he may or maynot plant the next season. Farmers would go broke the first year.

Give me a break this is some PR BS, I question the legitimacy of the whole farming thing here.

The TGGI connection to BDCI is thin however you have to consider that DWYER is behind both and the juggling thing was another PR scam and continues with investor chatter but notice not with DWYER anymore.

The whole thing stinks and isn't going to get any better anytime soon.
