If they can get them to perform as well as HID lighting, maybe growers will be convinced and start buying them but, it's going to be a tough sell. There's no energy savings as it takes many more fixtures at tighter spacing to get the same PPFD. Massachusetts mandated a lighting power density of 36 watts/SF and with LED it takes almost twice as many lights to get the intensity levels required by cannabis.
