There were several different timelines and statements on fragile X this spring...concurrent trials being one. I think the analyst report which was the most recent info I believe, stated Q3. Earlier in the year they said by the end of 2018 so I'm hesitant to say. I'm looking forward to get a second iron in the fire as I stated nearly 2 years ago that IMO the modality of actually regrowing synapses might be even more beneficial in fragile x than even in alzheimer's.
I do remember Alkon mentioning talking with the FDA about using previous data from 2 infant studies to design this coming trial. Perhaps there are still details being worked out or perhaps they are still in talks with a children's hospital maybe helping with the study/trial. I'm just guessing. Would like to hear an update obviously. These guys usually have stuff laid out before they tell us it seems.
Also interested in seeing who our newest board director will be. Would love to see someone from the bryology gang but I'm sure they won't have any trouble lining up someone well qualified. I think last year we learned of Dr Perry in October before the board meeting so shouldn't be too long.
