That would seem to indicate that no matter how spider silk is created, endotoxin is a concern.

There was a discussion a few days ago, pertaining to FDA approval of GMO products containing spider silk proteins....

Merely showing work is underway, with respect to just that.

Anything extra, consider "icing on the cake...."
