#3370 RE: RCKS #3369

take care, RCKS

appreciate your reply, and letting me know what
you are up to these days and that you appreciate
the time it takes to organize chart and interpretation
sharing … it is folks like you that are considerate
and thoughtful over the years that keep me unselfish with
my time

life is short

see you around the ball park

if you do make it to Montana some time, be sure to
save in your notes a very strenuous and somewhat dangerous
hike near Raynolds Summit dividing Montana and Idaho at
the Continental Divide … several hikes head East from
the paved highway location to dirt road trailheads, and they
can be hiked and the super athletes bike them as loops.
Many black bear and grizzly in this multiple peaks area that is the
bear management section outside the Yellowstone Park boundary, and
the rock slides where moths inhabit and the berry patches both
provide ample food supply for bears. All the hikes are
worthwhile, but avoid the autumn period and especially when archery
hunting season is underway. There is no way to avoid contact with
the 69 collared grizzly bears in this specific area....it is a function of blowing your whistle and shouting often.
