>>> Putin and Erdogan to launch Turkey's 1st nuclear reactor

Associated Press

April 3, 2018

ANKARA, Turkey – The leaders of Russia and Turkey are scheduled to launch the start of the construction of Turkey's first nuclear power plant as ties between the countries deepen.

Russia's Vladimir Putin, on his first foreign visit since re-election on March 18, arrives in Ankara on Tuesday for talks with Turkey's Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The two will remotely launch the construction of the Russian-made Akkuyu nuclear plant on the Mediterranean coast.

Turkey and Russia have put aside their traditional rivalries and differences on regional issues to forge closer ties. Putin and Erdogan have met several times in the past year and regularly speak on the phone.

On Wednesday, they will join Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to discuss Syria. The three countries are sponsoring a series of peace efforts to end the conflict. <<<

Many believe the attempted coup against Erdogan in 2016 was orchestrated by the CIA/West. Turkey has been moving away from the US and closer to Russia.

Erdogan now realizes that the US wants to break up Syria into 3 pieces, one of which will be an independent Kurdistan, carved from large areas of Iraq and Syria. Turkey has always had a big Kurdish problem, and Erdogan shudders at the thought of the Kurds having their own country right next door to Turkey.

Tarpley said that to get Erdogan to participate in ousting Assad, the US/West encouraged his dreams of becoming a Sultan ruling a modern day version of the Ottoman empire. He said the West would eventually double cross Ergogan, which has now happened, and this has pushed Erdogan into the arms of Russia.

Turkey and Russia have made a deal for the Russian South Stream pipeline, now called 'TurkStream' (link below). The US was trying to thwart the South Stream pipeline idea for years, and would rather have Russia dependent on the existing pipelines going thru Ukraine, which are vulnerable to being controlled by the US/West.

Since the rise of the Neocons in the late 1990s, the US has increasingly taken on the characteristics of a global bully and pariah, and finds itself increasingly isolated. Trump is now acting like a complete Neocon, and is even driving Europe out of the US orbit.

The US is now all 'stick' and no 'carrot', and is becoming widely hated. The world is increasingly eager for an alternative to the US dollar/SWIFT system, which will make US sanctions impossible to enforce.
