Sox are part of the laggards
They will be sold out of portfolios to offset the gains
of the winners. Even the big guns like INTC are still lagging
and will probably be part of the sell.
These laggards have to be sold by the end of fiscal year or they will not be able to offset the gains of the old economy smokestack type stocks that have led ths Dow and SPX to multi
year highs.
Even if the semis can make a good rebound over the next couple days , they would offer an even greater price to unload.
After the EOY for the fund managers Oct 31 , they may pick up Sox
for end of year rally , and end of fiscal for them Oct 07.
Stinky Sox are just that...........
